Caz is always ready to get her hands dirty

“I have had a great passion for real ale since I can remember. It’s not just the traditional flavours of the beer that I like (although that does play a big part), it is also the traditional places in which you find real ales and the wonderful characters that very often go along with it. It is in places like this, that I am at my most content. So when I was offered a redundancy package from my previous 15 year career as a production/training manager for an electronics company, I decided to take it and pursue a new career doing something that I genuinely loved. Beer! In 2009, I attended Brewlab at University of Sunderland and came away with a Certificate in Practical Brewing.

My favourite watering hole for many years has been the Six Bells brewery tap in Bishops Castle, owned by my surrogate brother (now Boss) Nev. I was so excited when he told me he was expanding his brewery and needed additional staff. I began my new career in January 2010 and I have not looked back, but only forward and enjoying every minute of it.”
