Food
Sue runs the pub, its dining room and traditional bar. It’s a friendly bar, buzzing with the conversation of local artisans, artists and farmers. There are no fruit machines and no piped music. In winter a good fire keeps everyone cosy. The bar is traditional too, with a row of beer engines serving Six Bells ales. (Yes, you can buy Guinness, lager and keg cider here, but the pumps are tucked quietly out of the way.) The wooden floored lounge is traditional throughout and cosy and comfortable for dining. Fine wines are available to accompany your meal. Dogs welcome in the bar.
Lunch is served Tuesday to Sunday, with roast on Sunday. Dinner is served Tuesday to Saturday. Wednesdays nights are curry night or international theme night.
